Project: 3d Forest Render (Blender)
Client: personal project
This is a 3d rendering of the Australian outback completed as part of the Nature Academy tutorial series. The image was created in the open-source Blender 3d engine, and features a generated terrain with various geometry modifiers to simulate land formations. It is fairly typical of how these types of results are achieved, but I’m still quite happy with the results.
The plants, rocks, pebbles, trees and other debris are generated with particle systems, with vertex group based falloff to reduce rendering time.
